Hi, our names are Renee and Jay. We started out getting married in Oregon but moved to Kansas for our honeymoon. After 4 years, we decided that we wanted to have our own homestead in Tennessee. So after Jay secured a job he could work remotely, we started looking for that perfect place. We finally found just under 50 acres in Middle Tennessee with an old small farmhouse on it. Join us as we update the house, build fencing, buildings, start raising animals and growing food. 

We grew up loving the land. At homesteadhollerfarm.com We both have similar and different experiences on the farm and living a homestead lifestyle. I love to garden and grow things, make tinctures, can fresh vegetables and fruits, cook and bake. I also spent 5 years in 4-H as a kid. Jay has a long history of raising animals, gardening and he spent  over 15 years as a 4-H leader. Together we plan to bring the best of our experiences together to provide a happy loving homestead that will provide most of what we need in life.
